About Fibre Splitters
Fibre splitters divide one optical feed across several outputs, mainly for FTTH and passive optical network designs. The range is based on PLC splitter technology and comes in several package formats. Bare-fibre and steel-tube splitters are spliced inside closures and trays; ABS box and LGX cassette versions sit in distribution enclosures; and 19-inch rack-mount units suit exchanges and head-end rooms.
Rack-mount splitters are available with SC APC or LC APC ports in ratios from 2×2 up to 2×32, alongside 1×2 and 1×4 units in other formats. Choose the split ratio to suit the planned number of subscribers and the optical budget. Connect with APC patch cords and house them in Fibre Distribution hardware.
