About Access Control
Access Control brings together the door and vehicle access hardware TMT supplies for ELV projects: controllers, card readers, cards and tags, electric locks, exit buttons and power supplies. Credential technology drives reader choice — 125 kHz proximity (ID/EM), 13.56 MHz Mifare, or UHF for long-range vehicle identification with windshield stickers — so cards and readers should be selected as a matched set.
Lock type depends on the door: single- or double-door magnetic locks, electric strikes or electric bolts, with brackets for frameless glass doors, plus emergency break-glass release units. Reader and lock wiring is covered by access control cables; see also the Access Control Systems overview.
