About Fibre Distribution
Fibre Distribution covers the housings that organise, protect and present optical fibre where cables are spliced and patched: optical distribution frames (ODF), fibre patch panels, wall boxes, distribution boxes and splice closures. Rack-mount ODFs and patch panels suit equipment rooms and data cabinets, wall and distribution boxes serve floor and building entry points, and splice closures protect joints on external routes.
Port capacity and adapter type, such as SC or LC, are listed on each model page and should match the pigtails and patch cords in Fibre Connectivity. Rack-mount units fit the 19-inch racks and cabinets in the TMT range.
