About Cat7 Network Cables
Cat7 cable is a fully screened S/FTP network cable: every twisted pair has its own foil shield, and an overall braid surrounds all four pairs. This construction gives very low crosstalk and strong protection against electrical noise, which makes Cat7 a good fit for data centres, industrial sites, broadcast rooms and runs alongside power cables.
TMT Global Cat7 cables use 23 AWG conductors, 4 pairs, with an LSZH jacket option for buildings that need low smoke and zero halogen, supplied in 305 m boxes.
Cat7 vs Cat6A: both support 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 m. Choose Cat7 when you need maximum screening; Cat6A is usually simpler to terminate with standard RJ45 connectors. Open a product to see its full specification and datasheet, or ask our team which cable suits your project.
