About Cat6 Network Cables
TMT’s Cat6 range spans six constructions: U/UTP, F/UTP, U/FTP, F/FTP, S/FTP and flat cable. Almost every model is supplied on a 305 m reel, mostly with 23 AWG conductors and some 24 AWG options, and jacket choices include PVC, LSZH and PE for outdoor routes.
Selection usually comes down to two questions: does the route need a screened construction, and is the run indoors, in a low-smoke area or outside? To compare categories see Cat6A and Cat5e.
