CCTV Cables
About CCTV Cables
CCTV cables combine a coaxial video conductor with the power and control conductors a camera needs, so one cable run serves each camera position. The range is built on RG59 and RG6 coax in two layouts: siamese cables, where coax and power pairs are joined side by side and separate easily at the termination, and round composite cables with all elements under one jacket.
Variants add 18 or 14 AWG power pairs, shielded or unshielded control pairs for PTZ cameras, or auxiliary pairs, and an RG6 quad-shield plus Cat6 hybrid combines coax and a Cat6 data cable in one run. For coax only see Coaxial Cables, and for the wider range see Security & ELV.
