About Network Patch Cords
Network patch cords are factory-terminated RJ45 copper leads used to connect patch panels to switches and wall outlets to end devices. The range covers Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A, plus Cat7 and Cat8 options, in U/UTP, F/UTP and S/FTP constructions with 23 or 24 AWG conductors.
Match the cord’s category and screening to the permanent link it plugs into, so a screened Cat6A installation is patched with screened Cat6A cords. Lengths and construction are listed on each model page. The installed cable and termination hardware are in Network Cables and Network Connectivity.
